About me

Under the pseudonym Hoochisra, I started my activity in 1994 with the experimental painting after which I began to study painting academically up to the master's degree program. From the early days of my career, topics related to psychology, human, figure and form have always inspired and fascinated me. Later, I was drawn to professional painting. The motif of my work covers domains such as painting, psychology and philosophy. Given my stance on human society and the confusion of modern man along with questions related to the nature of man, his identity and interaction with nature, I finally determined to express these issues visually. This is the reason I have chosen a glass background for my paintings with layered images on each work, because I believe unless man explores his internal and psychological layers, he will be unable to gain independent awareness of his inner self and be at peace with the world. As a result, he will never have an effective and constructive interaction with human society and unravel his true nature. Therefore, a key theme running my works is to raise questions in the process of self-analysis of each audience. In the following pages, a collection of my paintings, which best represent my work, are presented.
